DV8Festyork - Saturday 17th July
Sue is planning to wander round York on Saturday afternoon 17th July to see all the Goths at the Goth Festival. They are parading in Museum Gardens from 1 o clock so the plan is to go and see the parade and then wander round the alternative Goth markets and then go for a few beers and something to eat. If anybody fancies joining Sue please contact her on 01904 424179 as soon as possible so that she can book a table somewhere.
Should be plenty of photo opportunities and something completely different as Monty Python would say!!!!!!!!!!

Friday 23rd July - Evening Race Meeting
Some members are planning to attend the evening race
meeting. Meet at 5.30pm at the entrance gate to the enclosure.
Grandstand and Paddock ticket costs £17 or £14 each for 6. Bring your own food and drink. The new rule for this year is that you can't cross the race track after the last race to get closer to the band (Madness) unless you've bought a Grandstand / Paddock ticket.

Ceilidh Club is is held every second Sunday of the month at St Aelred's Church Hall on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Melrosegate. It starts at 7.30pm and costs £2.50
